FIELD: mining industries. SUBSTANCE: 0.5-5.5% of liquid fuel is added to thickened oxidizing agent solution at temperature not higher than initial crystallization temperature, and the resulting suspension is mixed with solid fuel in amount of 5-17% by weight of explosive. Oxidizer is dissolved in aqueous thickener solution in amount of 60-95% of its total weight, and remaining amount is added to suspension prior to or simultaneously, or after mixing with solid fuel. EFFECT: improved detonation and power characteristics of final water-containing explosive due to better uniformity of contact among particles of liquid fuel and oxidizer and greater density of water-containing explosive. 14 ex
