FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of production of hydrogen- containing explosives largely used in mining industry for explosive breaking of any-rigidity ores and rocks, including exceptionally rigid ones. In particular, thickening agent is supplemented by stabilizing agent in amounts 0.25 to 10.0 wt parts per 1 wt part of silica, the total content of which in thickener ranging from 4 to 12 wt % and pH of thickened oxidant being maintained at a level not exceeding 6.5, whereas utilized stabilizing agent is urea and/or its salt and alkaline silica-containing product is liquid glass or nepheline. When preparing explosive, liquid and/or solid fuel are used in amounts ensuring total level of fuel in explosive within a range of 5-25 wt %. Liquid fuel can be represented by its mixture with paraffin at ratio 1:(0.2-5). In solution of thickener, 60 to 98 wt % of oxidant is dissolved, while the rest of the latter is added in solid state before, simultaneously, or after addition of liquid fuel. As a result, physical stability and water resistance of water-containing explosive are increased (the latter by 1.6-2.5 times) and distribution of fuel is improved owing to increased resistance of thickener to premature gelation.
