FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of producing water- containing explosives primarily applied in mining industry. A part (30-60 wt %) of stoichiometrically required amount of oxidant is dissolved to saturation in aqueous solution containing binding agent, then liquid sensitizer is added under stirring, and suspension obtained is supplemented with remaining amount(40-70 wt % of stoichiometrically needed) of oxidant in the form of porous grains. As liquid sensitizer, diesel fuel, mazut, mineral or vegetable oil, or their mixtures can be used. Product is mechanically stable, water- resistant explosive substance with uniformly distributed liquid sensitizer. It contains no expensive trotyl or aluminum and exhibits stable detonation characteristics at oxidant solution-sensitizer mixing temperatures reduced by 8-52 C and therefore at accordingly reduced temperatures at which explosive is charged into blasthole.
