SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring parts comprising planes and spheres. A basing element comprising basing prisms is placed on the mounting plane. An orienting mechanism with a carriage and an orienting prism is installed on the basing element. The main reading device with a measuring probe and the main arresting mechanism is installed on the basing element. An additional reading device with a measuring tip and with an additional orienting mechanism is installed on the basing element. In this case, the axes of said probe and tip are placed in a common bisector plane of the basing prisms to ensure their coaxiality, and the measuring probe and tip are placed at a given reach and symmetrically relative to the bisector plane of the orienting prism. When installing readout devices, the main locking mechanism is configured for its interaction with the carriage and measuring probe, and the additional locking mechanism with the carriage and measuring tip. The measurement object is installed on the basing prisms, orienting it by moving the carriage towards it. At the same time, the prism adheres to the outer spherical surface of the measurement object, is displaced along the common bisector plane, and the measuring probe and tip are brought to the measured planes. Readings are taken using reading devices. When the carriage is retracted, the locking mechanisms retract the measuring probe and tip to their original position. According to the readings, the deviations of the measured parameters from the set value are determined.
