FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is aimed at measurement of physical quantities and consists in setting of metric unit (measure ) of measured value with dimensionality of length ( centimeter ) and in its comparison with measured value with the aid of instrument graduated and numbered by specified measure. In particular case of measurement of temperature metric measure of its change equal to pressure of latent mass of heat quanta is set and thermometer whose metric scale has zero division located below zero of Kelvin scale is used.
