FIELD: surgical treatment of hernias. SUBSTANCE: method includes longitudinal dissection of front wall of sheath of musculus rectus abdominis on opposite side from xiphoid process to pubic; separation of musculus rectus abdominis with aponeurosis covering it from rear wall of sheath to its external border; transferring of formed musculoaponeurotic graft with uniform tension onto region of defect and its fixation to remnants of aponeurosis with u-shaped sutures in form of duplication; bringing of umbilicus proved to be under musculoaponeurotic graft, through perforated hole in aponeurosis correspondingly to its projection; making of relieving scarifications on aponeurosis in lower parts of abdomen, in case of excessive tension; fastening of this region with perforated autodermal graft prepared according to Yanov's procedure to prevent formation of postoperative hernia and displacement of umbilicus towards defect.
