SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with operations upon abdominal wall and the organs of abdominal cavity, particularly at surgical treatment of white line hernias with large hernial portae, also, at removing post-surgical hernia, at treating diastasis of rectus muscles of abdomen, in case of relaparotomies. Before suturing in the wound of abdominal wall along external edges of the sheaths of rectus muscles of abdomen one should apply metallic Kirschner needles through aponeurosis in direction from the navel towards the thorax. Moreover, it is necessary to make stitches at puncturing in and puncturing out the needles. The needles should be fixed together with the help of ligatures being between them till bringing the wound's edges together. Sutures should be applied onto internal edges of the defect of abdominal wall. It is important to dissect anterior folia of the sheaths of rectus muscles of abdomen followed by applying the sutures between internal edges of dissected anterior folia of sheaths of rectus muscles of abdomen. Sutures should be applied between external edges of dissected anterior folia of sheaths of rectus muscles of abdomen. The ends of needles and ligatures should be withdrawn onto the skin and removed in about 12-14 d. The innovation enables to remove the tension in tissues under suturing, provides relaxation of lateral muscles of abdomen and prevents eventrations and post-surgical hernias.
