FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: enalapril maleate-base solid medicinal form is made as pressed granules (size is 0.75 mm) powdered with a mixture of starch and magnesium or calcium stearate. Granules have a mixture of enalapril maleate on matrix made of polyvinylpyrrolidone with starch and lactose. The form has enalapril maleate at the therapeutically effective amount, lactose 48-52 mas. p.; starch 33-42 mas. p.; polyvinyl-pyrrolidone 1-2 mas. p.; calcium or magnesium stearate 1 mas. p. being 17-60% of starch mass can be as component of granules and 40-83% - as component of powdering mixture. The preferable content of enalapril maleate - 10 mg. The form exhibits good decomposition after its intake by patient and does not enter harmful and inert substances in the body as a result of balanced composition of components. The proposed medicinal form can be used for treatment of patients with arterial hypertension and cardiac failure.
