RAIL SECTION ASSEMBLING COMPLEX Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for assembling track sections with wooden ties and spike fastenings. Proposed complex has two trailers with pneumatic wheels, drilling and fastening machines installed on one of trailers, tie feeding conveyor located at drilling machine, assembling machine, conveyor for transfer of ties in process of assembling and device for rail feeding and device for moving off rail track sections arranged at both sides of assembling machine. Complex has also conveyor-tie accumulator installed on one of end faces of first trailer, and tie feeder arranged at tie feeding conveyor. Assembling machine and conveyor for transfer of ties in process of assembling are mounted on second trailer. This conveyor is arranged along second trailer. Tie feeding conveyor is installed on second end face part of first trailer. Conveyor-tie accumulator, tie feeding conveyor and conveyor for transfer of ties in process of assembling are installed for turning in vertical plane by drives and fixing in vertical position. EFFECT: reduced time taken for mounting and demounting of rail section assembling complex, provision of mobility and increased capacity of complex. 4 cl, 2 dwg
