FIELD: oil production; applicable in control of liquid amount flowing in pipeline and productivity of oil wells, particularly, wells equipped with sucker-rod pumps. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of time of liquid passage through known cross-section, velocity of liquid passage and subsequent processing of results. Novelty consists in that time of passage is determined by presence of acoustic noise produced by liquid motion when flowing through known cross-section and passage velocity is determined by frequency of production of portions of acoustic noises cause by liquid nonuniform motion. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for process measures in control of oil well productivity by a factor of 3.5, higher reliability and simple and accurate control. 1 dwg
