SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to provide direct measurements of parameters in the well space at the site of well fluid pumping and their transmission to the surface via a wireless communication channel. The technical result of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the technological process of well fluid production by means of SRP due to ensuring the availability of well information, increasing its reliability and efficiency, and versatility of application in various technological conditions. In particular, a method is claimed for transmitting telemetry signals during the operation of production wells by sucker-rod pumps, in which the force in the well part is modulated on the drive rod connecting the well mechanism and the surface electric drive, by adjusting the dynamic resistance during the movement of the well fluid by means of a valve modulator, providing a load change on the pump plunger, as a function of measuring information transmitted from downhole sensors to the surface, thereby generating signals as part of telemetry frames, and these signals are decoded on the surface during measurement information transmission sessions using a mathematical model of a priori dynamometer charts formed outside of these sessions. A telemetry system for a sucker rod pump is also proposed, which implements the specified method for transmitting telemetry signals.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the technological process of well fluid production by means of SRP due to ensuring the availability of well information, increasing its reliability and efficiency, and versatility of application in various technological conditions.
