FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes sampling of ejaculate in patient; placing of sample into vessel of device for measurement of quantity of moving spermatozoons; maintaining in vessel of temperature within 37±0.5 C. Vessel depth shall not be less then 200 mcm. Prior to examination of sample, adequacy of indications of measuring device is evaluated by testing mobility of spermatozoons in normal sperm containing spermatozoons rendered motionless, and in normal sperm deprived of spermatozoons. Mobility of spermatozoons is evaluated by quantity of actively and slowly moving spermatozoons. Normal sperm containing spermatozoons rendered motionless is obtained, preferably, by heat treatment at temperature of 60 ±5 C. Normal sperm deprived of spermatozoons is, preferably, obtained by centrifuging at 1000g for 10±2 min.
