FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to reproductology, andrology and clinical embryology, and can be used to predict the presence of sperm cells in human testicular tissue in patients with azoospermia. Ejaculate is collected, Raman spectroscopy of seminal plasma is performed. Seminal plasma is used, which is centrifuged for 10 minutes at 400g and 30 minutes at 3,000g, which is immersed into a hollow waveguide, from which spectral characteristics are taken by Raman microscopy. If 2,940 cm-1 spectral line intensity is higher than 2,000 standard units, absence of sperm cells in testicular tissue of patients is predicted. At intensity of the same spectral line in range of 1,000-2,000 standard units, presence of sperm cells in testicular tissue of patients is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of non-invasive evaluation of seminal plasma and prediction of sperm cells due to use of hollow waveguides for analysis of seminal plasma, non-invasiveness of procedure and absence of complicated and expensive sample preparation when obtaining an accurate picture of cell and tissue physiology.
