FIELD: catalytic devices for treatment of waste gases. SUBSTANCE: catalytic devices for catalytic treatment of waste gases have at least one catalytic body with stack of first and second members following transversely each other. Each first sheet member has main section with several rising areas, for example corrugations. Second sheet members have main section adjoining the rides of corrugations of at least one adjacent first sheet member. main sections which limit passage of waste gas are provided coats having layer of aluminium oxide and catalytically active material. Each sheet member of at least one pressing section is rigidly connected with member of holding units and/or is held by means of this member at some distance from pressing section of other sheet member, thus providing for stable and strong attachment of sheet members without damage because of excessive pressure forces and/or motion. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of catalytic devices in performing large number of passages per unit of surface; low cost of manufacture. 25 cl, 22 dwg
