FIELD: mechanical engineering; catalytic cleaning of exhaust gases of internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: proposed catalyst has axle and housing with inlet and outlet holes. Housing has catalyst means in form of hollow cylinder with inner surface, outer surface and passages for exhaust gas passing from inner surface to outer surface. Catalyst means enclosed inner space in cross section perpendicular to axis. Inlet hole connected with inner space accommodates limiting member. Limiting member has limiting surface approaching inner surface of catalyst means in direction from inlet hole to inner surface of catalyst means which uniformly distribute exhaust gas getting into inner space of catalyst means among passages of catalyst means in process of operation.
