FIELD: manufacture of engines; systems for cleaning and/or decontamination of aggressive agents. SUBSTANCE: catalyzer has housing with inlet and outlet; gas permeable catalytic element with inlet surface for waste gas is located in housing. Guide surface mounted in housing is directed to inlet hole and is located at some distance from its edge. This surface forms angle with axis, from 60 to 90 deg. Inlet has inner surface with cylindrical or slightly conical section of inner surface connected in zone of inlet hole with conjugated surface which is opposite to guide surface. Connection is made due to section of intermediate surface of bow-shaped housing widening towards inner object. Waste gas passing through intake may flow to member due to guide surface at disconnection at low loss of head; it is evenly distributed over inlet surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 10 cl, 16 dwg
