FIELD: construction industry, in particular, molding of hollow construction panel having outer opposite walls interconnected by transverse webs which define, in conjunction with walls, cavities extending between opposite sides of panel. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing removable inserts transverse of tray-shaped mold, with insert lower sides being held in spaced relation with respect to mold base wall and gaps between adjacent inserts defining mold inner cavities for forming panel webs; adding portions of fluid mixture of material to be subjected to molding together with reinforcing material into mold for filling inserts and gaps between them; withdrawing inserts upon hardening of fluid mixture in mold in horizontal and lateral directions; extracting molded panel from mold. Panel produced by method does not require further finishing and is ready to be painted and covered with wall paper etc. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified production and reduced cost for manufacture of panel. 23 cl, 8 dwg
