SPOILER WITH SIGNAL LIGHT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed spoiler with signal light can be used as additional signal light for automobile stop light or for side light. Spoiler with signal light has spoiler body 1, signal light base 6 with mounting plate 7, light sources 8 and signal light lens 9 which has flat part 10 and rounded part 11. Socket 12 in form of L-shaped profile pointed with its angle to space 13 of spoiler body 1 is formed on wide end face side 3 of spoiler body 1. First component 14 of profile is connected with wide end face side 3, and second component 15 of profile is connected with one of planes 4 of spoiler body 1. Signal light is installed in socket 12 so that its base 6 adjoins second component 15 of profile by its outer surface 16, and flat part 10 of lens 9 adjoins first component 14 of profile. Mounting plate 7 is connected with plane 4 of spoiler body 1, and rounded part II of lens 9, following the outer contour of spoiler sections, is connected by one edge 17 with flat part 10 and by other edge 18 it adjoins mounting plate 7 of base 6.
