FIELD: mechanical engineering; low ambient temperature starting aids for diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: device has compressed air source connected by pipeline with pressure regulator and shutoff valve with nozzle inlet of swirl pipe. Swirl pipe hot flow outlet branch pipe is connected with engine cylinders by through air distributor. Swirl pipe has hot air flow temperature control valve and jacket with branch pipes to supply and remove heat carrier from outside heat carrier source installed on its working part. Device provides possibility of getting heated air flow delivered into engine cylinders at its starting without use of outside heat power source owing to re-distribution of inner energy of compressed air among different flows and dividing the flows in swirl pipe and possibility of control of temperature of air delivered into cylinder.
