FIELD: ophthalmology, particularly, methods of implantation of soft intraocular lenses. SUBSTANCE: prior to implantation, haptic parts of lens are sutured alternately with thread. Lens is implanted through incision of cornea and pupil under eye iris so that haptic part is left in cornea wound. The other haptic part is fixed to iris of eye. Threads are brought through paracentesis of cornea and iridotomy to cornea surface. Eye iris is punctured at distance equalling the width of stitch on lens. Threads from other heptic part are brought through corneal wound. Lens is fully implanted. Ends of threads are tied in pairs above iris. Knots are embedded into front chamber. Method allows implantation with absence of support on the side of rear crystalline capsule. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
