FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to first version, side part of body includes front fender 1 and rear fender 2, front door 3 and rear door 4 and protective outer bar 5 which consists of front section 6 rigidly secured on front fender 1, section 7 rigidly secured on front door 3 and section 8 rigidly secured on rear door 4. Sections 6, 7 and 8 of protective bar, made from durable deformable material, steel for example. Engageable ends of sections 7 and 8 of bar 5 are provided with coupling members including loop 11 fitted on end of section 8 of bar 5 and hook 12 fitted on engageable end of section 7 of bar 5. When doors 3 and 4 are closed, vertical part of loop 11 is received at clearance by groove 12. According to second version, each section of protective outer bar is formed by two interconnected members, load-bearing member and decorative member. Load-bearing member are made from durable deformable material, steel for example; they may be engageable by means of coupling members (as in first version); decorative members are made from flexible material, polymer material for example.
