FIELD: transport engineering; passive safety equipment. SUBSTANCE: body side part has fender M, door aperture N in which door 1 is fitted. Door has outer panel and inner panel with end face parts made integral with inner panel through flanges of which panels are rigidly connected to each other. Body side part has safety beam 6 placed in door space formed by other panel and inner panel with end face parts. Door I is fitted in body door aperture N formed by part of roof 7, sill 8 and pillars 9. Safety beam 6 is made by stamping in outer panel of door I over its width along body sill 8 with stamping top pointed outwards from plane of outer panel of door 1 and it is formed by U-section beam and, in particular cases, by shaped angle plates by means of which beam is rigidly secured on outer panel. Projections are made on end face parts of flanges of beam with U-shaped cross section, and in particular cases projections are made on end face parts of shaped angle plates by means of which they thrust against surfaces of flanges of end parts of inner panel of door 1.
