FIELD: shut-off fittings. SUBSTANCE: this valve can be used in pumping units for example for supplying water in systems for production of artificial snow. In valve, spindle with shut-off member is secured in body by means of sealing gaskets. Valve seat takes configuration of truncated cone. Guide bush is fastened in body within seat zone. Drain valves have body containing locking ball and spring. Shut-off member is cylindrical in shape with internal thread. Head of shut-off member is made in the form of truncated cone. Shut-off member is inserted through guide bush and is connected with spindle by means of internal thread. Spindle is secured in body by means of locking rings and it can be rotated. Drain valves are installed between seat and guide bush. Aforesaid embodiment of valve in artificial snow production systems for passing water completely prevents hydraulic vibration and freezing of valve. Loss of water pressure in valve is minimized.
