FIELD: pumping plants. SUBSTANCE: valve may be used in shut-off fittings. It is used in pumping plants for air supply in artificial snow production systems. Body with couplings is connected to inlet and outlet branch pipes. Shut-off member is of cylindrical form with a head shaped as a truncated cone. Shut-off member is coupled to spindle by means of internal threaded connection. Tail part of shut-off member is made square and passed through guide bushing secured inside body for axial displacement. Spindle is secured in body by means of gaskets and stop rings for rotary motion. Seat is shaped as a truncated cone. The construction precludes vibration. Losses of air pressure in valve are minimized. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
