FIELD: method of making permanent joints of pipes by means of sleeves and adhesives made from epoxy polymer; erection and repair of gas and water lines; mechanical engineering, power engineering, communication and other industries. SUBSTANCE: thermally shrinkable members are fitted at ends of pipes to be connected on the outside and flexible radially expandable bush is fitted inside; epoxy adhesive is applied on surfaces to be connected and joint area is heated in two stages; prior to second stage of heating, joint area is shrouded by winding several layers of strong band with the same epoxy adhesive. Epoxidiane resin at molecular mass of 390 to 430 in amount of 2 to 3 mass-parts is additionally introduced in epoxy composition on base of diglycydil ester of phthalic or hydrophthalic acid with anhydride hardening. Thermally shrinkable sleeve includes protective bush made from polyolefine; inner bush is made from epoxy polymer.
