FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns epoxide composition for manufacturing thermocontracting connection elements during construction and restoration of gas ducts and water ducts, joining of pipelines and rod structures of dissimilar materials in mechanical engineering, communication, etc. Polymer composition contains 80-90% 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol epoxide resin, 10-20% modifier, and epoxy hardener in stoichiometric amount. Modifier is selected from group comprising particular types of oligoepoxyurethane and low-molecular rubbers and hardener is selected from diethylenenriaminomethylphenol, triethanolamine titanate, and isomethyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride.
EFFECT: raised vitrification temperature and simplified composition.
