FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: this heat exchanger can be used in manufacture of heat-exchanging apparatus ensuring comfortable conditions in saloons of transportation facilities and in premises of buildings. Heat exchanger has pipes of coils, side walls. Space between front surface and rear surface of heat exchanger is filled with porous metal produced in required amount from compact molten metal by filling aforesaid space with granular material. Melting point of this granular material is higher than melting point of required porous metal. Granular material and aforesaid pipe coils are heated to temperature which is close to melting point of compact metal. Cavities between granules are filled with this metal which is in molten state. Granular material is removed upon cooling. Aforesaid embodiment of heat exchanger increases its mechanical strength and also simplifies its manufacture together with reduced labour-intensity in manufacture. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
