FIELD: detection, measurement, constant control over volumetric activity of tritium in air of rooms where tritium is stored or used. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of invention lies in insertion of discriminator of signals caused by radon, of temperature-sensitive elements and pressure transducers into tritium monitor. Ionization chamber is manufactured in the form of two coaxial cylindrical chambers placed one inside another. Outer chamber is measurement flow chamber and inner chamber is leak-proof compensation chamber filled with air. Outer cylinder of measurement chamber is its cathode and is electrically connected to power supply source, inner cylinder is used as anode of measurement chamber and simultaneously as cathode of compensation chamber and is electrically connected to input of amplifying-converting unit. Anode of compensation chamber fabricated in the form of thin rod and placed inside compensation chamber is connected to another pole of power supply source. Temperature-sensitive elements and pressure transducers are located in measurement chamber, their outputs and outputs of discriminator of signals caused by radon are connected to computer processing signals in digital form.
