FIELD: production of glass sheets, in particular, using vertical glass pulling tools. SUBSTANCE: device has two identical channels for processing signals from two detectors of glass sheet thickness. Said detectors are separated by given space and are arranged along movement of glass sheet. In addition device has computer unit, which estimates sheet thickness near production point using values from detectors, and unit for regulation of rotation speed of drive of vertical glass pulling tool. EFFECT: increased glass quality due to elimination of ridge buckles. 2 dwg
