FIELD: commercial glass reprocessing industry. SUBSTANCE: forming element has punch and die, which are provided with rigid frame having openings for attachment on press and working surface attached to frame by means of bolts: to punch bottom side and to die top side. Punch working surface has set of thin steel plates. Punch frame and die frame have longitudinal slots arranged at punch and die joining site and adapted for receiving fastening bolts. Transverse beams are fixed on punch frame top side and provided with threaded openings for receiving squeezing bolts. Forming frame composed of narrow steel strips is fixed on rigid die frame by means of screw-type pins. Rigid die frame and forming frame are equipped with threaded openings for connecting thereof and forming desired geometry. EFFECT: reduced cost for producing bent sheet glass and increased precision in manufacture of given type of articles. 2 dwg
