FIELD: wheeled vehicles, in particular, driving axle with blocked differential mechanism. SUBSTANCE: driving axle has crankcase, drive shaft, main transmission, differential mechanism, two output shafts for vehicle drive wheels, gear clutch with drive for coupling differential mechanism casing to one of output shafts. Insert with boss and cylindrical cavity for gear clutch drive piston are fixed on crankcase. Boss is positioned laterally of driven toothed gear of main transmission in opposed relation to differential mechanism casing. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation of driving axle by reduced number of parts projecting from it. 8 cl, 2 dwg
