METHOD OF ANTICORROSIVE TREATMENT OF BRAIDED CABLE WITH PULLING SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: treatment of cable with brain having layer of zinc and system of braided cable pulling. SUBSTANCE: method begins in coating with zinc remaining after wire coating with zinc or electroplating of wire which is drawn and braided. Through amount of remaining zinc is scarce enough, as it covers only that remained on cable wires or cores, without precipitation of metal, or organic, or synthetic resin, etc. Methods allows production of final product with high corrosion resistance whose mechanical properties are not affected. The process includes the following stages: degreasing, washing, discharge, drying, chrome plating, additional discharge and drying, sealing discharge and drying. In so doing, the second washing stage may be omitted depending on situation, and then, the last stage-lubrication is fulfilled. Pulling system is based on self-regulating motors, each of which is connected with drum at each stage of process. Each motor has unit consisting of lever, counterweight and analog transducer for regulation of motor rotation speed in case of change of cable tension. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
