FIELD: railway transport; cooling of locomotives. SUBSTANCE: proposed to control slats of louvers of locomotive cooling device has cylinder with pull-back spring designed for turning louver slats, oil tank with throttle and check valve. Oil passes into cylinder piston space through throttle and check valve. Device has also pneumatic distributor which, being switched on, provides getting of air into oil tank, and hydraulic distributor to provide passage of oil from cylinder into oil tank. Device had limit switch for switching off pneumatic distributor to hold louver slats in partially open position. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of operation by provision of setting of louver slats in required position. 1 dwg
