FIELD: sorbents. SUBSTANCE: kaolin (53- 58% silica and 42-47% alumina) and white black (at least 86% silica and up to 0.15% alumina) are used to form mixture with up to 50% of white black, which is then calcined for at least 40 min at temperature not superior to 850 C and mixed with alumino-silicon hydrogel to form granules that are subjected to hydrothermal at least three-step crystallization in alkaline aluminate solution, temperature and reaction mass and ageing time being varied in each step. Resultant zeolite is washed with water and subjected to wet mechanical polishing, rewashing, and drying. EFFECT: improved characteristics of dynamic adsorption moisture capacity, strength, and zeolite regeneration capability, and reduced wearability of surface layer of zeolite. 4 cl
