FIELD: protective coatings. SUBSTANCE: method of coating includes preliminary calorizing, chromizing or siliconizing of substrate and subsequent electrolytic or nonelectrolytic plating by precipitation of metallic matrix Ml from bath containing particles of CrAlM2 for coprecipitation with matrix, where M1 stands for, at least, one element taken from group including Ni, Co or Fe, and M2 is , least, one of elements taken from group including Y, Si, Ti, Hf, Ta, Nb, Pt and rare-earth elements. Method includes additional heat treatment before or after precipitation of MlCrAlM2. In preferable version, platinizing-calorizing of substrate is possible.
