FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining anisotropic texture of dried biological material under polarized light. Wound exudate is taken as the biological material in the amount of 10-100 mcl, it is mixed with 0.1-0.25 ml of physiological sodium chloride solution and dried as a drop on an open surface at 20-30 C. Polarizing optical examination is carried out when vitreous edge is formed along the drop perimeter. Secondary textures being observed, positive outcome in healing the wound is to be predicted. Atypical textures being observed, complicated wound regeneration process is considered to be the case. EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis; enabled treatment course correction; accelerated treatment course. 2 dwg
