WIDE-RANGE BED TO TEST ANGULAR VELOCITY METERS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: wide-range bed includes frame, shaft mounted in frame for rotation, platform to fasten meter on shaft. D C motor, ring commutator, source of calibrated voltage. Three tangential accelerometers are placed on additional platform so that their sensitivity axes are perpendicular to radii of additional platform and three centrifugal accelerometers are fixed on additional platform so that their sensitivity axes are oriented along proper radii of additional platform. Gyroscopic transmitter of angular velocity is so positioned on additional platform that its sensitivity axis is parallel to axis of shaft. Two hermetically sealed reed relays are anchored on elastic current lead so that angle of 6 deg is secured between contacts of mentioned relays. Magnet is secured in center position between contacts of hermetically sealed reed relays. Cylindrical bushing is suspended in frame of bed from ball bearing supports uniaxially to shaft passing inside cylindrical bushing. Shaft is hollow in one section of its length and band torsion bar is placed into internal space of shaft. Bed also has mechanism tracking axis of shaft. Personal computer is employed to control bed and to process obtained information. EFFECT: enhanced precision and stability of preset angular velocity, expanded functional capabilities of and increased sensitivity of bed. 6 dwg
