FIELD: measuring engineering.
SUBSTANCE: used to test gyroscopic angular velocity meters of various classes and operating principles for certification in terms of their static and dynamic characteristics by setting angular velocities both constant in magnitude and changing according to an arbitrary law. A universal precision mechatronic bench with inertial sensing elements for monitoring gyroscopic angular velocity meters is declared, where two angular velocity meters and two triples of linear acceleration meters (accelerometers) are used as inertial meters, measuring tangential and centripetal acceleration of their attachment points to the bench platform, sensitivity axis each trio of accelerometers are located at angles of 120 degrees relative to each other. As the first angular velocity meter, a precision angular velocity meter is used, which has a wide range of angular velocity measurements with a sufficiently wide bandwidth, in the feedback of which a filter is introduced to cut out high-frequency noise excited by an aerostatic suspension, and a precision float is used as the second angular velocity meter with a gas-dynamic support of the rotor and magnetic centering of its suspension, which has a narrow range of angular velocity measurement and a fairly narrow bandwidth, in the feedback of which a filter is introduced to cut out low-frequency noise generated by an aerostatic suspension, both angular velocity meters are designed to operate by inertial sensitive elements of the stand, and with the possibility of being in the self-control mode.
EFFECT: increase in the stability of the set angular velocity, as well as an expansion of the range of measured angular velocities and an improvement in the accuracy characteristics of the bench.
