FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making puncture exterior or interior with respect to the proper ligament in the projection of bent joint articulation fissure. Recess between the proper kneepan ligament and femur and tibia condyles is used as reference point. Knee joint being bent at an angle belonging to 100-130 deg range, the recess becomes palpable. Puncture needle is inclined at 45-60 deg relative to crus line. Puncture being done, 10-20 ml of water-soluble iodine-containing radiopaque substance is injected. First, half of the quantity is evacuated after making 5-10 flexion-extension movements in the articulation and then 70-90 cm3 of oxygen is injected. Superior torsion contrasting being not required, compressing bandage is applied to the lower part of the femur and taken off after X-ray examination is over. EFFECT: low risk of complications in diagnosing intra-articulation injuries.
