FIELD: fire prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, in particular, to devices generating gas and aerosol mixture of flame retardants, designed for 3D fire-fighting in closed unventilated premises. The device for aerosol fire extinguishing comprises a housing with the outlets, a pyrotechnic stick, an igniter and a central trigger unit. The housing is made of two opposite stacked plate-shaped containers that are covered with heat-insulating layers. In one of the containers the pyrotechnic stick of end burning with the igniter is mounted. The igniter is initiated by the central trigger unit that is mounted on the bottom of the second container. At the bottom of the second container a tubular gas duct is coaxially located over the pyrotechnic stick, which is secured with the flange in the junction of containers. The gas duct forms a receiver which is equipped with the outlets. The trigger unit is located inside the threaded rod which is mounted on the bottom of the adjacent backlash-free second container. On the threaded rod the disc wire brushes with pressure diaphragms are mounted, which are limited by the gas duct along the perimetre.

EFFECT: proposed technical solution provides separation of large solid phase particles of the generated aerosol for afterburning in the regulated filter with more efficient cooling of the extinguishing mixture in the device.
