FIELD: domestic technique, namely machines for ironing linen, mainly at home. SUBSTANCE: ironing machine includes housing in the form of post with hinged decorative front wall, elastic supporting surface for ironing in the form of calender with hollow shaft mounted with possibility of rotation by means of electric motor, with possibility of extending from housing, fixing in extended position and height regulating, ironing heated surface in the form of adaptor that may be moved forth and backwards, pressed to elastic supporting surface for ironing, extended out of housing and fixed in extended position, control foot pedal. Machine is provided with suction off air pump. Calender is in the form of hollow cylinder with hatch on its leading end for charging inside it linen subjected to drying or moistening. Cavity of calender is joined with working space of suction off air pump. Calender, mechanism for rotating it, mechanism for realizing reciprocation motion of adaptor and suction off pump are mounted on supporting wall of machine housing with possibility of extending together with it. EFFECT: possibility of realizing additional functions such as drying or moistening linen before ironing due to recovery of heat provided at using iron or steam produced in steam generation mode. 2 cl, 4 dwg
