FIELD: medicine, namely abdominal surgery. SUBSTANCE: probe consists of two sections, short and long ones. Short section length makes up one third of general length. Probe also has guide with light source at its distal end. After guide is introduced into short section the latter becomes more rigid which facilitates guide passage. In addition, light in olive region indicated probe location. Light penetrates into peritoneum through intestine wall, which makes it possible to direct probe correctly through horse-shoe. After passing of Treiz ligament guide is removed, long section is coupled to short one, and subsequent passing is performed is usual way. EFFECT: more effective construction. 3 dwg
