DISPERSIVE VULCANIZABLE COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: rubber-processing industry, more particularly, processing of crushed waste of shockproof rubber materials and products. SUBSTANCE: composition is prepared by mixing crushed vulcanizate from shockproof rubbers with sulfur and petroleum oil, ratios of components being as follows, wt parts: crushed vulcanizate, 100; sulfur, 1-5; and petroleum oil, 1-5. Mixing is carried out in mixer with blade rotor. Vulcanizate fractionated through sieve has particle size of 1-5 mm. Mixing is carried out in "vortex layer" mode at linear particle rate of 2-20 m/s mixing chamber capacity degree of 2-20%, rotor rotation frequency of 300-1000 rpm for 4-60 g. Characteristics of rubbers: tensile strength is 4.8-6.8 MPa, relative elongation is 140-220 %. EFFECT: improved elasticity of the composition.
