FIELD: railway construction. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railways based on sleeper assemblies. Rail fastening has under-rail units 10 with liners and end-units 12 which are installed on coupling member 11 by means of central through-holes. Located between units are steel clamps 2 with vibration-damping liners. Steel clamps are made with resilient bend-up which has protrusion 7 to enter recess 6 in rail foot 1. Area of recess 6 is at least two times larger than cross-sectional area of protrusion 7. Clamps 2 are made with external stiffening ribs. According to method of mounting, protrusion 6 is rigidly fastened on each clamp 2. Mounted on coupling member 11 are end-units 12. Under-rail units 10 are installed through liner. Installed between units is clamp 2 with vibration-damping liner. Liner 5 is installed under rail 1. Recess 6 is made for protrusion 7 at required distance from end-faces of rails being connected. All components are tightened by stressing of coupling member 11. Application of aforesaid embodiment of rail fastening allows for doing away with bolted joints in coupling of rails and in installing rails on sleepers. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
