FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: the threadless rail fastening contains an inverted U-shaped frame embedded in the sleeper, the inner upper part of which is inclined to the horizontal, inside which the end sections of the rod griffon are placed, and an under-rail gasket. The under-rail gasket is made in the form of a platform and consists of three bonded layers, of which the upper and lower layers are anti-friction and elastic, and the middle layer is polymer and protrudes beyond the sole of the rail to form two protrusions equal in height to the sole of the rail. The griffon end sections have a length greater than the depth of the frame, making it possible to move the griffon from the platform ledge to the sole of the rail. At the same time, the distance between the ends of the end sections and the rectilinear part of the griffon is less than the depth of the frame, which ensures the fixation of the structure. Inside the frame there is a corner connected to it, the horizontal shelf of which serves as a gasket between the griffon and the sleeper, and the vertical shelf is a stop for the ends of the griffon end sections. The embedded parts of the frame and the parts of the corner in contact with the sleeper are covered with an electrical insulating compound.
EFFECT: service life of the rail fastening is increased, the adjustment of the track width is simplified, and the material consumption is reduced.
