METHOD OF MECHANOHYDRAULIC COAL MINING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: industry; applicable in hydraulic mines and hydromechanized mine sections. SUBSTANCE: method of mechanohydraulic coal mining includes coal breakage, coal hydraulic conveyance, coal cleaning, screening, dewatering and water supply of users, with complex combination of optimized process members. Coal breakage is effected by selective breakage of coal mass with preset size of chipped pieces. Evacuation of loosened coal from stope by water flow is combined with its simultaneous cleaning in stope due to optimized angle of its inclination, size of chipped pieces and dosed volume of water supply. Coal is dewatered on flight conveyors with slotted sieves cleaned by flexible fastened to conveyor flights. Coal grading is carried out with the help of crushing-grading complex in form of gravity-shearing crusher of selective action and drag-slotted classifiers. Mechanical breakage of coal may be performed by boom-like working member with disk shearing cutters. EFFECT: efficient machineless process of underground coal cleaning. 3 cl, 1 dwg
