FIELD: transport engineering; automobiles and tractors. SUBSTANCE: rotary piston internal combustion engine has housing in form of enclosure with closed end faces, and hollow operating shaft with timing holes. Cylindrical liners are uniformly spaced over circumference and connected through end face surfaces with operating shaft. Liners accommodate pitons coupled with connecting rods passing through guides. Ends of connecting rods move in rings found on inner surface of housing. Timing system shaft is placed inside operating shaft. Timing system shaft is provided with holes made in one plane with corresponding holes of operating shaft and system of intake and exhaust channels with outlet to opposite end faces of timing system shaft. Rotor has operating shaft with cylindrical liners, pistons and connecting rods. Timing system shaft connected with housing is made motionless. Cylindrical liners are arranged in one or two radial planes. Rings are made in form of ellipse. Axis of operating shaft is displaced relative to center of ellipse along its smaller axis through half of height of compression chamber reduced by height of safety clearance value. EFFECT: increased power output, enhanced ecological characteristics. 2 dwg
