FIELD: automobiles and tractors. SUBSTANCE: engine operating shaft 4 is passed through butt ends of fixed case 1 and, together with cylindrical sleeves 7, pistons 8, and rods 9, forms rotating part of engine, that is, its rotor. Shaft 4 is eccentrically arranged within case 4 so that pistons are free to radially move and four-stroke operation of engine is ensured. Sleeves 7 are placed over circumference singly or in pairs so that each next one is offset along axis of shaft 4. Gas-distribution system shaft 13 is coupled with operating shaft 4 via set of transmission gears affording unidirectional rotation of both shafts with turn ratio of shafts 13 and 4 being 1:2. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced size, and improved service life of engine. 3 cl, 5 dwg
