FIELD: drying and cleaning compressed gases in compressor plants. SUBSTANCE: gas is compressed in compressor and is subjected to preliminary drying and cleaning in water-and-oil separator, after which it is subjected to drying in one of two adsorbers operating in turn; final drying is effected in final filter. When drying of gas is effected in one of adsorbers, other adsorbent is subjected to regeneration. Changing-over the adsorbers from drying mode to regeneration mode and vice versa is effected by means of quick-acting valves. Prior to changing-over the adsorbers, saturated adsorber is disconnected from gas delivery main and pressure is relieved for 4 to 6 s from water-and-oil separator and then regenerated adsorber is connected with delivery main. Saturated adsorber is connected to regeneration main and then it is unloading. EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency due to reduced time of idling. 1 dwg
