FIELD: heat exchangers, in which cleanliness of heat-transfer surfaces should be maintained. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger is furnished with scraper members for removal of deposits. In one modification the scraper member is formed by spiral insert 15, having the same design as insert 9. Insert 15 has duct 16 for the second heat exchange medium. In the next modification central tube 13 is provided with one or more scraping blades that can be cooled by liquid. The cleaning cycle is accomplished due to axial shift of insert 15, which is mounted on central tube 13, in the direction of fixed insert 9, which makes the heat-transfer surfaces to come in contact. Then a turn is carried out, for example, part of a revolution while the surfaces are side by side or in contact with each other, this results in scraping of deposits available on the two surfaces and thus in cleaning of duct 20. EFFECT: provision of cleaning during operation. 7 cl, 2 dwg
